Project:
Blueprint for Arterials
Client:
East-West Gateway Council of Governments
Scope
The Blueprint for Arterials provides transportation planners and engineers with practical guidance for planning and designing arterial roadways in developed communities throughout the St. Louis region. The resource recognizes that successful roadway improvements require more than technical and engineering considerations, they must also reflect the needs and experiences of the people who live, work, and travel along these corridors.
The Public Engagement section provides practical strategies for involving residents, businesses, community organizations, and other stakeholders throughout the planning and design process, helping transportation professionals better understand community priorities and local concerns.
